So, I’ve been dealing with a small yet potent problem- my giant computer screen and my HD tv have been giving me motion sickness. I see a specialist in about 2 weeks. So in the meantime, I’ve been trying to keep things to a minimum on both, which doesn’t always bode well when I want to watch a cool movie with the male in my life. *sigh* But it also means me and my pda have been making friends again– especially after the slight problem with the fact that Palm does NOT have drivers for Windows 7 yet for my Tungsten E2. *growls* But when Cyn realized– “Hey, I have like a card reader built in”, I managed to do a bit of finagling around that problem. Recently, there have been lots of talks regarding covers and sales in the ebook and print industry. So I wanted to take a poll to see what the reality is when it comes to how much influence cover art has on sales. The poll will run for a month, so please participate and pass on the link. As someone who is overweight and is learning how to eat correctly for herself and for her male, there is a slow way to learn how to eat well. But Jamie Oliver is one of my favourite cooks from his Naked Chef days. What I hadn’t realized was his passion for teaching people about cooking and good health. For him to win the TED prize was amazing. More importantly– his acceptance talk is inspiring and more importantly– tells us as a nation how far as a country we have to go.
It’s been a while, but I’ve also been thinking on this topic for a while. There are people out there with slower sex drives then us sexual maniacs- and we often are with them because there’s a bond. Before, I spoke about how people with the higher drive can do things to help relieve the tension and pressure on those with the slower drives.
